PROJECT METROPOLIS

Metropolis is a festival in Rotterdam that every year cooperates with the WdKA. Students of illustration make posters for the bands that perform at this festival. I chose the three-piece alternative rock band named Arcane Roots, from England. By listening to their songs, watching their videoclips and a lot of research I designed a poster. The PDF shows my process.

I was especially fascinated and inspired by their song and video Curtains, directed by Miguel Santana.
