PROJECT RDM - HEIJPLAAT

In this very first project of Illustration year 1 the assignment was to make a book with the subject the RDM terrain at the Heijplaat in Rotterdam. This industrial place has an interesting history: since 1901, it used to be one of the largest shipyards of Europe. The employees of this port all lived together at the Heijplaat district in small cottages. 
Within this context we had to come up with an illustrative book, all written, drawn, designed and produced by ourselves.
